Life Long Learning (LLL) Programme for Training of Medical Doctors and Students in Nutrition
developed by ESPEN and European universities with the support of European Union, Leonardo da Vinci Programme, project BG-03-B-F-PP-166039
The LLL programme in Nutrition is based on an Educational curriculum developed by European experts. It offers 105 training modules developed on the basis of innovative educational technologies, combining variety of learning resources. 20 - 25 Live courses (4-5 per year) contribute to intensive training and certification. The programme owns rules for training, tracking, remediation, assessment of academic achievement and certification. It awards credits and competency-based certificates for Continuing Medical Education (CME).                     
Individual e-Portfolio: The LLL programme gives the opportunity to study on an individual plan comprising self-selected list of modules, courses and lectures, adaptive release of content and activities. Each user have the possibility to achieve his/her educational goals, create an individual learning programme, and evaluate the academic performance.
                     
The LLL programme gives the chance for communication between users/learners, educators and experts from different European countries. It also provides access to forum for open discussions on the highlights of various topics and special cases on nutrition. It broadens the horizons and breaks the limits of proximity restricted by one educational institution. It facilitates continuous improvement of daily practice in nutrition, contributing to better health.
